LIMP BIZKIT Guitarist WES BORLAND: Drum Tracks For Solo Album Finished

February 23, 2005

LIMP BIZKIT guitarist Wes Borland has posted the following message on his official web site:

"All drums [for my solo record] are finished. Josh Freese played like a thug. Unbelievable.

"It's looking like the record will consist of thirteen songs, give or take maybe one. We're getting super close to finishing, but the album can't be released until after the LIMP BIZKIT record (which is almost in the can, guitars are done along with most of the other instruments and a lot of vocals) comes out due to this and that.

"I finished up all the lyrics while I was in Prague.

"We are tracking guitars on Friday and Saturday. Then strings (cellos, violas, you know, REAL strings),then vocals, followed by Josh Eustis from TELEFON TEL AVIV coming in to re-amp keys, tear up some sounds, and mix.

"This record started as an electronic instrumental piece and has turned into a rock album somehow. I don't know why or how it happened. I guess it just couldn't be helped. But things are looking up for these songs to finally see the light of day sometime this year.

"The first concept for this began to form in November of 2003, so it's been a long time coming to see this finished up.

"Prague was so shockingly inspiring, it forced me to remember that life is elsewhere. I can't wait to see it again."
